| Hua Minjiang headed a NPC law enforcement examination team to Jiangsu |

From January 29 to February 1, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Hua Jianmin headed the law enforcement team on the Law on the Protection of Investment by Compatriots from Taiwan to Jiangsu for examination. During that period, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress Liang Baohua and Vice Party Secretary and Governor Luo Zhijun visited the team and briefed them upon social and economic development of Jiangsu, cooperation between Jiangsu and Taiwan and implementation of the Law on the Protection of Investment by Compatriots from Taiwan.
During the visit to Jiangsu, the examination team listened to relevant reports issued by the provincial government, Nanjing municipal government, Suzhou municipal government and Kunshan municipal government, convened seminars attended by businessmen from Taiwan, had field trips to eight Taiwan-funded companies including Nanjing TPO Company Ltd., Kunshan Photovoltaic Industrial Park, Renbao Group, Foxconn Group, and it also exchanges views with the provincial government. Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress Li Quanlin and Ding Jiemin accompanied the team, and Vice Governor Zhang Weiguo reported relevant information and took part in the exchange of views. |
