After finishing all the scheduled items on the agenda, the 3rd meeting of the 11th Provincial People’s Congress successfully closed yesterday afternoon in Nanjing. 

        The meeting was chaired by Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of Provincial People’s Congress Liang Baohua, and executive presidency was assumed by Liang Baohua, Li Quanlin, Bai Suning, Zhang Yan, Zhao Long and Zhu Longsheng. 

        719 delegates of all the 800 qualified attended the meeting, which met the statutory requirement. 

        Delegates seated at the presidium were Luo Zhijun, Zhang Lianzhen, Zhao Kezhi, Lin Xiangguo, Hong Qiang, Yang Weize, Yang Xinli, Huang Lixin, Jiang Hongkun, Zhang Weiguo, He Quan, Xu Ming, Shi Heping, Cao Weixing, Chief Justice of the Provincial Higher People’s Court Gong Pixiang, Chief Procurator of the Provincial People’s Procuratorate Xu An, Vice Head of the Political Department of Nanjing Military Area Command Zhang Yuxi, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Area Command Yang Sen, and elder comrades including Han Peixin, Chen Huanyou, Chu Jiang, Sun Han, Cao Keming, Xu Zhonglin, Wang Shouting, Ren Yansheng, Feng Mingang, Li Mingzhao, Wang Zhan, Fang Zhizhuo, Li Peiyou, Ye Jian, Wang Rongbing, Sun Anhua, Wu Donghua, Wu Ruilin, Wu Jilie, Lu Jun and Zhou Zhenhua.

        The meeting adopted the following documents: the Resolution on the Report on the Work of Government by the 3rd Meeting of the 11th Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress, the Resolution on the Implementation of the Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Jiangsu Province in 2009 and the Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Jiangsu Province in 2010 by the 3rd Meeting of the 11th Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress, the Resolution on the Implementation of the Budget of Jiangsu Province in 2009 and the Budget of Jiangsu Province in 2010 by the 3rd Meeting of the 11th Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress, the Resolution on the Report on the Work of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress by the 3rd Meeting of the 11th Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress, the Resolution on the Report on the Work of Jiangsu Provincial Higher People’s Court by the 3rd Meeting of the 11th Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress and the Resolution on the Report on the Work of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Procuratorate by the 3rd Meeting of the 11th Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress.
